KURS “A”- EP “Elementary paragliding pilot”
at training school SRB.ATO 210

The initial stage of obtaining an official paraglider pilot license is often the most challenging part of the process. It's considered initial because most of us have limited knowledge about paragliding. It’s also difficult because humans are not naturally inclined to fly; however, with training and practice, we can learn to overcome this.

Even birds are not born with the ability to fly; they have a genetic predisposition.

The human brain is incredibly capable of learning. Our main allies in this process are psychological will and physical strength.

In this course, we will master theoretical knowledge in construction and materials, regulations, flight theory, and the basics of meteorology.

We will master the following practical skills to the level of automation: all ground handling elements, straight flight, and flight turns up to 90 degrees. This means that, by default, we will operate at an automated level, making independent decisions regarding the flight plan and the flight itself.

The course duration can range from 2 weeks to 6 months. In just 2 weeks of a private course, it is possible to achieve the desired level. This intensive program includes up to 12 working days, along with 2 rest days for physical recovery.

The weather from mid-May to the end of September is perfect for this type of plan, as we can expect a few rainy days. Additionally, we can organize a private weekend course throughout the year, with a minimum requirement to work at least every beautiful weekend on Zlatibor Mountain.
